I'm loving your illuminations, Kerry. That quote is simply beautiful.
I like this quote. I used a very similar mantra in my journey... trouble is sometimes when you sacrifice who you are, you can sometimes get lost... but then finding out who you are becoming is also just as exciting. :)
I suppose I think of it like as though you're not sacrificing who you are so much, but sacrificing the 'stage' you're at. Trying to think of a way to explain myself...you would understand this...you first have to become empty, or shed some things to be able to 'fill up' so to speak or take on new things. You never totally discard who you are...it's more like you're evolving.
